United Methodist Creation Justice Movement in partnership with United Women in Faith, Global Ministries, and  General Board of Church and Society, invites you for a special Earth Day Vigil on April 22, at First United Methodist Church in Charlotte, North Carolina.

As we come together from all across the world for General Conference, we want to take a moment to be in community and  acknowledge our interconnectedness, and reaffirm our commitment to environmental stewardship. This is an opportunity for fellowship, community-building, and deepening our engagement as Methodists with issues of environmental justice.

All attendees of the General Conference, as well as residents of the Charlotte area, are warmly welcome to join us for this meaningful gathering. Whether you’re a delegate or observer during General Conference or simply find yourself in Charlotte during this time, we extend our invitation to you.  If you are not attending in person but would like to join us online, we will be streaming the vigil and you can register using this form as well.
