Scholarship Story: Ministry with the Marginalized
by Julie Harding
I began seminary with a strong sense that I am called to be a bridge between the church and the world. Classes such as The Church and the Social Context, Faith after Ferguson, and an immersion learning about transformational service with those in poverty have clarified my call to be in ministry with those who have been marginalized. Perkins is strengthening my theological foundation so that my work will be more fruitful. Without the support of United Women in Faith and others I would not be able to receive this education. Thank you!
