Join us for our online monthly Community Gathering!

The phrase “food desert” often evokes a picture of a wasteland where it is difficult for people to access healthy food.
We will speak with Program Resource author, Dr. Joyce del Rosario, when she will challenge us to think about food banks and meal distribution programs that are helpful to meet immediate needs.
We will also consider what it means to love our neighbors struggling with food insecurity. Loving our neighbors can mean going beyond immediate needs and addressing the root causes of the problems we face in our neighborhoods.
