Join United Women in Faith and faith leaders around the United States and urge Congress to pass economic recovery and infrastructure legislation that addresses the harms of climate change and pollution. We must modernize existing water, transportation and energy infrastructure to be centered on equity and justice.
Ask elected officials to support clean air!
Tell elected officials to support clean air and climate legislation and funding! We urge Congress to pass clean air and climate legislation and funding, including the $550 billion in investments that will cut dangerous pollution, prioritize clean energy investments, and advance environmental justice. Join United Women in Faith and other partner organizations in advocating for clean air.
“The adverse impacts of global climate change disproportionately affect individuals and nations least responsible for the emissions. We therefore support efforts of all governments to require mandatory reductions in greenhouse gas emissions and call on individuals, congregations, businesses, industries, and communities to reduce their emission.”
