Daily Prayer Guide

Welcomed & Welcoming

Welcome to the 2027 Daily Prayer Guide!

This year’s prayer guide tells a story of welcome. We are called to welcome others just as Christ has welcomed us (Romans 15:7). This calling is not always easy. It invites us to be vulnerable and courageous as we extend God’s hospitality to those around us.

The 2027 Daily Prayer Guide features prayers, stories, mission projects, and children’s artwork that reflect both the radical hospitality of God and the hospitality we are called to practice in our own lives. Throughout these pages, you will discover new ways to offer welcome, extend grace, and make room at our tables and in our hearts for the strangers in our midst.

You can also experience this resource on our online platform via UWFaith Digital, where new Daily Prayer Guide content is posted daily.

The 2027 Daily Prayer Guide features prayers, stories, Scripture, and artwork that reflect the radical hospitality of God and call us to practice it in our lives; a directory of staff and current and retired mission personnel; a list memorializing mission personnel recently deceased; lists and maps of National Mission Institutions and places of service; and an at-a-glance calendar.
