How Does Giving Cultivate Hope?
The World Thank Offering is a way for members of United Women in Faith to show gratitude for God’s blessings and find creative ways to raise funds to improve the lives of women, children, and youth. Some women drop a coin in a box each day to give thanks for their daily blessings, while others add coins and dollars on special occasions in their lives.
Through your gifts to the World Thank Offering, you support the total program of mission carried on through United Women in Faith’s national office in the United States and around the world. The November program offered in the United Women in Faith Program Resource 2025 centers around Giving as an Expression of Our Faith. Our Community Gathering on UWFaith Digital is open to all.
This month, as our faith community celebrates World Thank Offering, we contemplate how giving cultivates hope. Answers are all around us in every small act of kindness — volunteering at a food pantry, donating toys for children in need during the holidays, or giving of your time and resources. The practice of giving from a spirit of abundance is a practice of faith, and a choice to hope.
We celebrate World Thank Offering, where we bring our gifts of gratitude for the transformation of local and global communities, by raising money for women, children, and youth in our neighborhoods and around the world.
Join the creative movement to make your own “gift box” to promote World Thank Offering! Post a photo of your World Thank Offering bank, no matter what it looks like, to show that giving together makes great change. When you post your photos on social media, tag United Women in Faith using #UWFaith so we can all follow along. You can also share your photos on UWFaith Digital.
