- GARLINDA BURTON, a Deaconess living in Nashville, Tennessee, where works as a resource developer for the General Commission on Religion and Race and a field education supervisor for Vanderbilt University Divinity School.
- CLARA ESTER, a Deaconess and longtime civil rights activist who has served on United Women in Faith’s board of directors and retired as executive director of Dumas Wesley Community Center, a national mission institution in Mobile, Alabama.
